The short film “Flavors of Dobrogea: A Journey Through Ethnic Cuisine”, produced by the National Institute of Heritage (INP) and the Destination Management Organization of Constanța County (OMD Constanța), won the Category Award for “Culinary Journeys” at the international competition Food Film Menu 2025.
The distinction was granted on September 27 2025, on World Tourism Day, during the prestigious Food Film Menu Category Winners Awards Gala, held at Palau Reial de Pedralbes in Barcelona, as part of the World Gastronomy Summit, one of the most important international events dedicated to gastronomy, cultural heritage and sustainable tourism.

About the Project
The short film is part of the program “Multiculturalism and Traditional Gastronomy in Dobrogea”, initiated by INP and co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Administration (AFCN).
The project aims to:
- promote the multiethnic traditional gastronomy of Dobrogea,
- involve local communities in ethnographic research and multimedia archiving,
- publish the bilingual recipe book “The Taste of Dobrogea”.
